VIJAYAWADA: When the entire opposition has termed holding of Global Investors Summit – 2023 in Visakhapatnam by Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy as politically motivated, Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan has offered his support to the summit.

Pawan congratulated the state government for organising such a big event in larger interests of Andhra Pradesh. He expressed confidence that the government will showcase the potential of the state, the available human and natural resources, and attract more investments.

The whole rank and file of Jana Sena turned silent and avoided criticism of GIS after Pawan tweeted his opinion on GIS on his official Twitter handle. The JS chief welcomed the delegates and representatives of the industry and business to Visakhapatnam.

Pawan said Jana Sena will support the state government in getting investments through the summit. The party will not make any political comments or resort to criticism of the government for the next two days and allow it to focus on successful holding of the summit.

The Jana Sena chief, however, hoped the government will move forward attracting investments rather than going backward with its reverse tender policy. He advised the state government to distribute investments in various other cities of the state like Guntur, Kakinada, Rajahmundry, Anantapur, Srikakulam, Ongole, Nellore, Kadapa and Kurnool.
