KTR condemns Centre over sale of Pawan Hans
The sale of Pawan Hans to a Pvt company formed 6 months ago with an authorised capital of Rs 1 lakh raises questions, tweeted KTR
Hyderabad: IT minister K.T. Rama Rao on Tuesday took a dig at the BJP-led government at the Centre over the sale of 40 per cent of Pawan Hans Limited, a public sector helicopter service, for Rs 211 crore while it was valued at Rs 3,700 crore in 2017.
Rama Rao Tweeted, "The sale of Pawan Hans, a profitable PSU to a Pvt company that was formed just 6 months ago with an authorised capital of Rs 1 lakh raises many questions & doubts! Pawan Hans was valued at Rs 3,700 Crores in 2017! Then How come 49% of it was sold at Rs 211 Cr? Any answers NPA Govt?. (sic)"
To this, TRS leader and TS Mineral Development Corporation chairman Krishank Manne replied, "NPA Govt will not answer because this is one of their Scams. In 2018 when they released norms for Bidders to Auction Pawan Hans, the guidelines was Bidder should be a Networth of Rs.500 crore. How did Star 9 Mobility which is months old be eligible to buy PawanHans? (sic)"
Rama Rao, the TRS working president, has been taking on the Modi government, through his Tweets for the past few months.
He had earlier Tweeted, "To all those people who cringe & crib each time I post some facts about NDA Govt & PM Please unfollow me immediately as I will continue to highlight & expose their bigotry & false propaganda; come what may. (sic)"
