N. Chandrababu Naidu roots for alliance Dharma
He suggested that political enthusiasts should come into politics only after they have settled down and fulfilled their goals in life.
Vijayawada: In an interview to Deccan Chronicle on Saturday, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu evaded straight answers on the Telugu Desam’s ongoing alliance with the Bharatiya Janata Party, which apparently will continue till 2019, by stating that he follows “alliance Dharma”, and it is not the right time to speak about alliances.
By praising Narendra Modi as the most stable leader across the globe, Mr Naidu said Mr Modi was the PM who made the most difference by forming the government with absolute majority in Parliament, after Independence.
When asked to comment on a few BJP leaders’ statements, he said that alliances are not new to either the TD or the BJP, and he leaves it to the wisdom of the leaders to comment on the BJP-TD alliance. He suggested that political enthusiasts should come into politics only after they have settled down and fulfilled their goals in life.
