Hyderabad: Does the Lingamaneni guest house in Undavalli, where former chief minister N. Chandrababu Naidu is residing, belong to the government or a private party?
In his letter Mr Naidu said, “Post Assembly elections 2019, following my demitting of the Chief Minister’s office, I have decided to retain the same private house as per the agreed terms and conditions of the private owner of the property.”
Since the state government has decided to dem-olish all illegal constructions in the Krishna river bed, the Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA) has issued eviction notice to Lingam-aneni Ramesh, who is shown to be the owner of the house according to information available. But the government has no proper records to show whether the building belongs to the state government as Chandrababu Naidu said, or not.
CRDA director (Develop-ment promotion wing) Koneru Naga Sundari says that CRDA has no proper records of the building.
The CRDA chief told this newspaper that she has written to the local Gram Panchayat to send details. She said that according to available information, the private residence of former chief minister Chandrababu Naidu belongs to Lingamaneni Ramesh and accordingly they have issued the notice to him.
