Karnataka: Mane Manege Kumaranna' in November

Bengaluru: State JD (S) president H D Kumaraswamy has decided to play catch up with leaders of the ruling Congress and BJP in reaching out to voters across the state through a campaign titled "Mane Manege Kumaranna." next month.
On Tuesday, party president and former prime minister H D Deve Gowda told the media the former chief minister and other leaders would commence the door-to-door campaign on November 1.
These leaders would constitute groups of party workers in order to reach out to voters in a big way in the run up to elections to the Legislative Assembly next year. Charging that leaders of national parties have ignored voters belonging to communities such as Naiks and Vishwakarmas, he said his party, however decided to not to neglect them during the campaign.
Mr Kumaraswamy, who underwent a surgery last week for replace of a valve in his heart, told his party workers through video conference facility that he would be available for party work full time commencing end of November 2017.
