BJP Fight Against BRS is Decisive: Chugh
People of the state are convinced that the BJP's fight against the BRS was decisive and timely
Hyderabad: BJP national general secretary Tarun Chugh on Wednesday contended that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s startling exposures have changed the political scenario in Telangana state. “People of the state are convinced that the BJP’s fight against the BRS was decisive and timely. The huge response that Modi received in Mahbubnagar and Nizamabad has bolstered the enthusiasm of the party workers and cadre,” he said.
While revealing the reasons for the rejection of the TRS into the NDA, Modi reiterated the commitment of the BJP to fight against the BRS dynasty and corruption. On the core issue of ideology, the BJP never compromises, unlike the BRS, he said.
The Prime Minister exposed the nexus between the Congress and the BRS and how the latter had funded the Congress during elections in Karnataka.
“By showing how the Congress’s irresponsible statements are proving detrimental to south India, Modi showed that the entire southern region was close to his heart,” Chugh said.
“I welcome the Centre’s decision to refer the Krishna Water sharing issue to Brijesh Kumar Tribunal, which, I am confident, will resolve the issue within a stipulated time-frame. This will largely benefit Telangana. In a span of three days, Modi fulfilled two crucial issues related to Telangana-constitution of a turmeric board, and a tribunal to settle the Krishna water dispute sharing between Telangana and Andhra Pradesh,” he said.
