YSRC incharges wait for auspicious time to start campaign

Kakinada: Newly appointed YSRC constituency incharges have been waiting for an auspicious time to start their campaign. The YSRC government changed the constituency in-charges in five constituencies in this region.

Vanga Geetha has been appointed for Pithapuram in place of existing MLA Pendem Dorababu; Varupula Subbarao in place of Prathipadu MLA Parvatha Purnachandra Prasad; Thota Venkata Narasimham in place of existing MLA Jyothula Chantibabu; Zilla Parishad chairman Vipparthi Venu Gopal in place of present MLA Kondeti Chittibabu; Pilli Surya Prakash in place of BC welfare minister Srinivasa Venu Gopalakrishna.

Venu Gopalakrishna has been changed to Rajamahendravaram Rural that is represented by Telugu Desam MLA Gorantla Buchaiah Chowdary. Former MLA Chandana Ramesh’s son Nageswar, a cloth merchant, worked as acting incharge of Rajamahendravaram Rural constituency so far. Now, the ticket went to Venu Gopalakrishna.

P Gannavaram incharge V. Venu Gopal will start his campaign from the famous Lord Siddhivinayak temple in Ayinvilli of Konaseema district from January 6. He has made all arrangements for the campaign.

He told the media that the present MLA would extend full support to him and he would meet him soon.

Jaggampeta incharge Thota Venkata Narasimham worked as MLA for two times from the constituency during the term of a Congress government and was Lok Sabha member from Kakinada on behalf of Telugu Desam. He is in touch with cadres for the past six months in the label of Athmiya Sammelanam.  Now, he waits for party guidelines to take part in the activities in the constituency as the YSRC is expected to reveal its the stand of Jyothula Chantibabu.

However, he is camping in his native village Veeravaram in Kirlampudi mandal. He is contacting the YSRC cadres on a regular basis.

BC welfare minister Srinivasa Venu Gopalakrishna went to Rajamahendravaram Rural constituency and is holding discussions with the party cadres.

Ramachandrapuram YSRC incharge Pilli Surya Prakash started his campaign from Thursday. He has visited Jagannaickula Palem village in Ramachandrapuram mandal. He told Deccan Chronicle that he would visit all the villages and contact all his followers and YSRC cadres. He is the son of Rajya Sabha member Pilli Subhashchandra Bose.

However, Pithapuram MLA Pendem Dorababu and Prathipadu MLA Parvatha Purnachandra Prasad are continuing in the party. They said they would render their support to the party candidates. However, Jaggampeta MLA Jyothula Chantibabu skipped the party programmes. These three MLAs abruptly stopped the Gadapa Gadapaku programmes.
