Hyderabad: BJP state president Dr K. Laxman on Sunday was critical of the announcement by TRS chief K. Chandrasekhar Rao to float a Third Front at the national level to take on BJP.

Addressing a news conference, Laxman asked how KCR could float a front when the four years of TRS rule in Telangana was disastrous.

He said BJP was already ruling in 21 States in the country and floating a new initiative would be 'misadventure’ for KCR. There were no political parties to associate with the Third Front.

TRS had only a 34 per cent vote share in the last elections and it was a fact the Chief Minister had improved his tally by admitting several MLAs elected on other party tickets.

He also rebuffed the Chief Minister’s statement that he was going to lead the Third Front against BJP and Congress, and said no party was prepared to accept him as the leader.
