Visakhapatnam: BJP national president Amit Shah left the party cadre in Visakhapatnam disappointed on Thursday by not speaking a word. The road show lasted for 45 minutes but Shah did not utter a single word.
The road show began from Urvasi Junction and ended at Kancharpalem after which Mr Amit Shah rushed to the airport and left for Assam.
BJP candidate for Visakhapatnam Lok Sabha seat Daggubati Purandeswari, state party president Kanna Lakshminarayana, BJP MLA P. Vishnu Kumar Raju, MLC P.V.N. Madhav and party candidates for the Assembly participated in the show along with Amit Shah.
The crowd was very thin and there is no enthusiasm among the party workers during the rally. However, the party workers expected that Amit Shah would address them in the public meeting. But soon after the road show concluded, he joined the convoy and left the venue.
