AAP files complaint against BDA in Lokayukta
Mr Reddy filed a complaint with Upa Lokayukta Justice Subhash B. Adi on Monday.
BENGALURU: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Ravi Krishna Reddy has filed a complaint with the Lokayukta, alleging massive fraud and criminal collusion of BDA and land grabbers that has caused a loss of property worth Rs 500 crore to the state government. Mr Reddy filed a complaint with Upa Lokayukta Justice Subhash B. Adi on Monday.
“24 acres and 10 guntas of land in survey number 9, 10 and 13 of Sajjepalya is the property of the BDA. This property was subject to preliminary notification issued in 1987 for formation of Sajjepalya Layout. The final notification was issued in 1996. Six different individuals – N. Narasimaiah, N. Vijay, Gopal Krishna Gowda, Dhananjaya, Satish Chandran and K. Dinesh Kumar, relatives of each other and residents of Kamakshipalya – had claimed right over these lands.
The possession of the land was also taken in 2005.“These people had filed a number of frivolous petitions before the High Court and all of those petitions were dismissed on the ground that the possession had already been taken by the BDA and the government itself could not do anything to denotify and return the lands to these people,” the complaint stated.
