VIJAYAWADA: Telugu Desam supremo and former chief minister N. Chandrababu Naidu slammed the YSR Congress regime for failing to take up any major developmental work in the last three-and-a-half months of their regime, except allegedly murdering eight TD activists, registering 499 assaults, encroachment of lands, destruction of property and implicating party activists in false cases.
Taking part in a programme held at the party office in Guntur on Wednesday, the TD supremo welcomed around 100 public representatives, including Village Sarpanches, MPTCs and ex-village sarpanches from Araku in Vizianagaram district into the party fold.
Speaking on the occasion, the Telugu Desam supremo stated that as they were fed up with the YSR Congress rule in the last 100 days, they joined the Telugu Desam.
