AP developed with Central funds: Kanna Lakshminarayana
He added that no Rayalaseema district was developed by the Chandrababu Naidu government.
Vijayawada: BJP state chief Kanna Lakshminarayana has said that all the development that has taken place in Andhra Pradesh has been with funds sanctioned by the Union government and the state government has done nothing for the development of Andhra Pradesh.
Talking to the media, Mr Lakshminrayana ridiculed the fact that the TD leaders claimed to have done a lot for AP, but when asked what they had done specifically, they often did not have any answers. He said that not even a single district in the state was developed by the state government.
He added that no Rayalaseema district was developed by the Chandrababu Naidu government. He found fault with the TD for forming an alliance in Tela-ngana with the Congress, which he said was deceiving the people of AP.
He said the TD leaders had the moral responsibility to explain to the people of AP about their alliance with the Congress in Telangana.
He also said that he was ready for an open debate on the development that had taken place in Rayalaseema.
He expressed a doubt whether Mr Naidu had an understanding with the Congress even at the time of the bifurcation of the state.
Meanwhile, BJP MLC, P.V.N. Madhav said Mr Nai-du had deceived farmers, DWCRA women and unemployed youth in the state.
