BRS requires neither Modi nor BJP, says chief whip
Warangal: The BRS does not require Modi and the BJP, which is a communal party and is also least interested in joining the NDA, said the government chief whip and Warangal West MLA Dasyam Vinaybhaskar on Wednesday.
He was responding to a comment from Prime Minister Narendra Modi the other day that KCR wanted to join the NDA some time ago.
Addressing the media in Hanamkonda on Wednesday, he said Modi spoke lies. “If Modi is committed to the development of Telangana state, as he claimed, why is he not fulfilling the bifurcation promises? BJP is totally against the Telangana state and is not going to win even two assembly seats in the coming up elections,” he said.
“When the BRS party is offering prayers to Mahatma Gandhi, the BJP is praising Godse who killed Bapuji. When the entire nation is watching the Telangana state’s enormous development under the BRS government, both the BJP and Congress leaders are not able to digest this.”
He said, “Keeping in view the assembly elections, both the BJP and the Congress are trying to divert people’s attention by making baseless comments against chief minister Chandrasekhar Rao and the BRS party.”
“IT minister Rama Rao would visit Warangal district on Friday and lay the foundations for the various developmental works to be taken up at a cost of Rs. 900 crore. Warangal will be transformed into the IT, Education, Health and Tourism Hubs, the chief whip added.
