Kakinada: Bharatiya Janata Party state president Daggubati Purandeswari accused Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy government of abolished 27 centrally sponsored schemes related to the welfare of scheduled castes and scheduled tribes. This apart, it is implementing many other central schemes by labelling them as its own.

While on a visit of Eluru on Saturday, she told media that the central government has launched its Vikasit Bharat programme in Andhra Pradesh to inform people about the schemes that the Narendra Modi government is implementing in the state.

Reacting to the statement of state minister Narayana Swamy that YSRC has implemented reservations by giving him the minister’s post, Purandeswari pointed out that the BJP has given top post of the country to a woman belonged to a downtrodden section.

The BJP state chief asserted that Prime Minister Modi was doing justice to all sections of people and implementing development and welfare schemes in national interests.

Later, Purandeswari, along with BJP national secretary Satya Kumar and state Sanghatana secretary Madhukar, convened a meeting to appreciate the Prime Minister’s good governance with welfare activities as an example of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikaas – doing justice to all sections of people.
