TD's Somisetty for 2 MP, 7 MLA Seats to Arya Vaisyas
Kurnool: State general secretary of the Telugu Desam Somisetty Venkateswarlu has requested for allocation of 2 MP and 7 MLA seats in the state to the Arya Vaishya community, expressing concern over the difficulties faced by the community since the YSRC-led government came to power.
Addressing the media at the party office on Saturday, he, along with Telugu Desam state trade cell president Dundi Rakesh, spoke about their tours across various districts in the state. They have been organising Arya Vaishya community meetings, aiming to unify the community and assuring them of the party’s support.
He highlighted that Arya Vaishyas, who have been adversely affected during the YSRC tenure, are prepared to work under Chandrababu Naidu’s leadership. As a result, they have requested the party chief to consider allocating 2 MP and 7 Assembly seats to Arya Vaishyas from any district in the upcoming general elections.
