Congress must apologise to people: Chandrababu Naidu
He said his government is aiming for the welfare of poor and it plans to provide permanent houses for all under affordable housing scheme.
Vijayawada: The Congress should show the differences between Special Category Status (SCS) and special package before criticising the government, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu said on Monday.
Addressing a gathering at the fourth day of Nava Nirmana Deek-sha at Tummalapalli Kalakshetram, the Chief Minister condemned the allegations made by the Congress.
“Instead of saying sorry to the people of Andhra Pradesh for the unethical bifurcation, the Congress is trying to play with sentiments in the name of SCS,” he said.
“Rahul Gandhi is saying that I am afraid of some people. He should know that I am not afraid of anyone and I am the senior-most politician in country,” he said.
He said his government is aiming for the welfare of poor and it plans to provide permanent houses for all under affordable housing scheme.
He said the government is giving free gas connections under Deepam scheme and will heading to announce stats as 100 per cent LPG state on June 8 on the closing ceremony of Nava Nirmana Deeksha.
