BJP hits out at Telugu CMs
Mr Muralidhar Rao said the BJP will repeat its performance in AP also.
Hyderabad: BJP national general secretary Muralidhar Rao on Tuesday said it is ridiculous on part of Chief Ministers K. Chandrasekhar Rao and N. Chandrababu Naidu to claim that the Telugu people in Karnataka have stopped the BJP from coming to power in Karnataka.
He said that the BJP had won a majority seats with the support of Telugu people, though the media had said that the BJP will not win even 90 seats.
Mr Muralidhar Rao said the BJP will repeat its performance in AP also.
Speaking at Telangana BJP OBC Morcha meeting held on Tuesday, he said that there is no party in Telangana, which is not mixing religion with politics.
He asked why the Telangana government need to “prostrate” before the MIM and predicted that the Telugu Desam is going to merge itself wit the Congress.
If the TRS loses power once, he said it is nothing. “In the past when the TRS was not in power, it had 20 MLAs. But only five remain-ed with the party,” he said, adding that the family-ruled parties cannot do justice to backward classes.
