Hyderabad: TRS MLC Ramulu Naik on Tuesday challenged Congress MLAs to resign and prove their mettle.

Responding to expelled Congress MLA Komatireddy Venkat Reddy’s call for all Congress MLAs to quit en masse if the Speaker does not honour the High Court’s judgement. Mr Naik said that there is no unity in the Congress on resignations and said Congress leaders to stop daydreams sitting in the Gandhi Bhavan.

Speaking to media persons on Tuesday, the TRS MLC said he is not sure about the continuation of N Uttam Kumar Reddy as TPCC president till next elections.

He said that the Congress has no right to talk about farmers. “Due to several schemes implemented by the TRS government, he saw happiness in the eyes of farmers, but in the eyes of Congress leaders, he could see only darkness,” he said.
