Thota Trimurthulu, Vangaveeti Radha skip Chandrababu Naidu’s review meeting

KAKINADA: Former Ramachandrapuram MLA Thota Trimurthulu and Vangaveeti Radha from Vijayawada are likely to quit Telugu Desam soon.

Mr Trimurthulu did not attend the TD review meetings on Thursday called by party chief and former chief minister N. Chandrababu Naidu,

According to sources, Mr Naidu had invited him to attend the meeting but Mr Trimurthulu remained absent.

Sources said that Mr Trimurthulu set the stage for joining YSRC soon. Followers of Mr Trimurthulu said that Chief Minister Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy promised Mr Trimurthulu the party district post to lead the party. The party also promised the present Ramachandrapuram MLA Ch. Venugopalakrishna to give another post, it is learnt.

Mr Vangaveeti Radha, meanwhile, met Jana Sena leader Nadendla Manohar at Dindi and held discussions with him. It is learnt that that the leader has decided to join Jana Sena.

Meanwhile, Mr Naidu, reviewed the party working constituency-wise at the meeting with leaders and party cadre.
