Jagananna Arogya Suraksha Helping Rural People: Dharmana

Visakhapatnam: Minister for revenue, Dharmana Prasada Rao, highlighted the positive impact of the recently introduced Jagananna Aarogya Suraksha programme, which is addressing the healthcare needs of rural populations where medical services are often lacking.

As the chief guest at a health camp held in Vadada Panchayat of Gara Mandal in Srikakulam district, the minister emphasised that the government, under the leadership of Jagan Mohan Reddy, is committed to extending government healthcare services to remote villages. He noted that the launch of this scheme is a significant step in this direction.

Dharmana Prasada Rao also pointed out that substantial funds have been allocated to the healthcare and education sectors in the state. He highlighted that the state's approach to healthcare services, including the establishment of village clinics, free distribution of medicines, medical tests, and comprehensive door-to-door health surveys, is unique and ensures access to healthcare in even the remotest areas of the state. Following his address, the minister engaged with the patients, inquiring about their experiences and the quality of services provided.
