Congress, IUML criticise K Chandrasekhar Rao's governance

Mr Ghani alleged that caretaker Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao had cheated Muslims in the name of reservations.

Hyderabad: TS Congress incharge R.C. Khuntia said the Congress was gaining support from all quarters even as he welcomed support extended by the India Union Muslim League (IUML). IUML state president Abdul Ghani met Mr Khuntia at Gandhi Bhavan in Hyderabad on Monday. 

Mr Ghani alleged that caretaker Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao had cheated Muslims in the name of reservations. Speaking to mediapersons later, Mr Khuntia said, “We are very happy that the IUML has extended its support to the Congress. The TRS, BJP and MIM are hand in glove with each other.”

Responding to seat adjustments in the Mahakutami, Mr Khuntia said, “The Congress has not announced any names till now. I urge all parties not to believe speculation.”
