Temple fire a warning to Hindus, says H Raja

Chennai: Alleging that Friday fire mishap in the famous Sri Meenakshi Sundareshwar temple in Madurai is a warning to the Hindus to rally together to “liberate” temples from the clutches of Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments department, BJP national secretary H. Raja has demanded the state government to hand over the fire accident case to the CBI for a thorough probe.

Demanding the government to hand over the case to the CBI within 24 hours, Mr. Raja said the fire accident at the Sri Meenakashi Sundareshwar temple, which has shocked the Hindus across the country, has raised several doubts. So, only an enquiry by the CBI could bring out the truth, he told reporters near Maduranthakam near here on Tuesday.
