KCR's front plan a drama, says N Uttam Kumar Reddy

NIRMAL: Telangana State Pradesh Congress Committee president N. Uttam Kumar Reddy on Tuesday described Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhar Rao’s National Federal Front proposal as a new drama, intending to cover his failures on various accounts in the state, in the last four years. He said there will not be any scope for a Federal Front or any such front as said by Mr KCR because TRS is not going to get a single MP seat in Telangana.
Mr Reddy was speaking at Nirmal town as part of the Praja Chaithanya Yatra. He regretted that a section of media was deliberately creating hype on Mr KCR’s front by giving full coverage in newspaper, forgetting the fact that people were closely observing media policy.
He said that some newspapers reported that some regional parties extended their support to Mr KCR’s Federal Front proposal which is not true and added that West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee told Rajya Sabha member Keshav Rao that they will look into the proposal when Mr Keshav Rao communicated to leaders of All-India Trinamool Congress party.
“This was reported in Telegraph but Telugu newspapers and TV channels reported otherwise,” Mr Reddy said.
He criticised Mr KCR of talking about farmers’ welfare in the election year and recalled that Mr KCR did not console a single farmer’s family when 4,500 farmers committed suicide in Telangana.
Mr Reddy questioned Mr KCR about why he was criticising the BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi now while recalling that TRS supported demonetisation, presidential and Vice-President elections, GST in the past.
