Karnataka: Dr Umesh Jadhav in BJP but not out of Congress yet

Kalaburagi: Two days after he handed in his resignation letter to K R Ramesh Kumar, the Speaker of the Assembly, rebel Congress leader Dr Umesh Jadhav joined the BJP and felicitated PM Narendra Modi at a public rally here on Wednesday. 

Dr Jadhav, however, has to overcome a major hurdle as Mr Kumar has neither accepted his resignation as MLA nor acted on a complaint for disqualification submitted by CLP leader Siddaramaiah against him and three other rebel Congress MLAs.
