Mysuru: Prime Minister Narendra Modi's late blitzkrieg in the state has increased the BJP's vote share by 3 percent, which will result in 25 additional seats, claimed Union minister D.V. Sadanand Gowda, here on Sunday.
Denying that the BJP would ally with the JD(S), he said, "We have not forgotten the betrayal of 2008.
We could have joined hands with the JD(S) at the BBMP and come to power, but we didn't. It will not be necessary for us to ally with the JD(S), as we will come to power on our own," he said.
