I was denied entry into Secretariat: Raja Singh
HYDERABAD: Goshamahal legislator D. Raja Singh on Saturday said he was denied entry into the state Secretariat after being invited by animal husbandry minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav for a review meeting. According to Singh, the invitation for the meeting was sent to all city MLAs and Members of Parliament.
In a video release, Singh said “the police stopped me at the entrance and said there was no permission to enter, so I returned. My question is why are the MLAs being stopped after being called to attend a meeting and why was the new Secretariat built?”
The BJP MLA wanted to know who issued instructions to the police to stop MLAs from entering the Secretariat.
“This is unfortunate. It was built with public money. It is not certain if people are being allowed inside but MLAs are not being allowed to enter,” he said.
