Law will deal with Naidu's Rs 118 crore scam, says Ambati
VIJAYAWADA: Water resources minister Ambati Rambabu on Thursday took a dig at Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan saying the JS president will never talk about Telugu Desam president N. Chandrababu Naidu's corruption.
He maintained that law will take its own course with regard to arrest of Naidu's in the ₹118 crore Amaravati scam.
Addressing media persons, the minister Rambabu said Naidu is trying to gain sympathy of people by saying he will be arrested. “The reality is Naidu is afraid because he is involved in this corruption,” he stated.
The minister said if there is any attempt to obstruct law, Chandrababu will definitely be arrested. He felt no case will be filed against anyone without basic evidence.
Rambabu wondered why Pawan Kalyan, who always keeps making allegations of corruption, is tight-lipped in this matter. He demanded that Pawan must speak about robbing of ₹118 crore of public money during the TD regime.
