Congress Government Must Fulfill Aspiration of Ambedkar: Bandi
Ambedkar introduced various reforms for the development of oppressed people and got praise from the United Nations Organisation, says Sanjay
Karimnagar: BJP national general secretary and Karimnagar MP Bandi Sanjay Kumar suggested the newly formed Congress government try to fulfill Dr B.R. Ambedkar's ambitions by uplifting people from lower-income groups.
On the occasion of Dr B.R. Ambedkar's death anniversary, Sanjay paid respect to his statue in Karimnagar on Wednesday.
The BJP MP said that despite the fact that Ambedkar did not come from a wealthy or upper-class family, he worked tirelessly from infancy to help the less fortunate. He introduced various reforms for the development of oppressed people and got praise from the United Nations Organisation.
He said Ambedkar has consistently opposed to the country's division and the execution of the 370 article. The BJP government suspended the 370 item, which the Congress opposed. He pointed out that the Congress defeated Ambedkar, whereas the BJP made the initiative to grant him the Bharat Ratna.
“The BJP government granted loans without any assurance to around 1.25 lakh Dalits, who were then transformed into industrials to create work possibilities for others. The BJP government also elevated Dalit and tribal leaders to the position of President of the country,” Bandi said.
The MP said, “When the world's democracy was at peril, India, with a population of over 140 million people, was flourishing with democracy under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership.”
He said that the people would reject any administration that attempts to undermine democracy and Ambedkar's objectives. That is exactly what happened in Telangana during the recently concluded Assembly elections with the BRS government. The people dethroned K. Chandrashekar Rao as Chief Minister for failing to achieve Dr B.R. Ambedkar's dreams and objectives, he added.
