Veteran actress Jayasudha joins YSRC, may get Andhra Pradesh Assembly ticket
She joined the Telugu Desam in 2016, but was abstaining from active politics.

Hyderabad: Veteran actress and former Congress MLA Jayasudha on Thursday joined the YSR Congress. Sources said Ms Jayasudha has a strong following in Andhra Pradesh and the party was planning to give her the ticket for either Vijayawada or Visakhapatnam Assembly segment.
In the 2009 elections, Ms Jayasudha was elected from Secundrabad Assembly constituency under the leadership of former Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy.
Following her defeat in the 2014 elections and the state bifurcation, she joined the Telugu Desam in 2016, but was abstaining from active politics.
