KOCHI: Thuravoor Vishwambharan, the scholar-turned BJP candidate for Tripunithura assembly constituency, stated that corruption cannot be eliminated fully. The retired professor of Malayalam literature has expressed his opinion about the menace of corruption during his campaign in Tripunithura on Thursday.

“Corruption cannot be eliminated totally. But, the level of corruption can be minimized by constantly fighting against it”, he said. Prof. Vishwambharan also promised he will be in forefront of the fight against corruption. He also alleged that the central government has invested several crores of amounts for the development of roads in Kerala. “But, the liars of both UDF and LDF are trying to claim the credit for the same”, he said.
