Hyderabad: Leader of Oppostion in TS Legislative Council Mohammed Ali Shabbir on Saturday  slammed Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP national president Amit Shah, saying that they were resorting to cheap political gimmicks of caste and sentiments since they lost credibility with an earlier campaign of Ram Mandir. 

He said Mr Modi was crying hoarse and shedding crocodile tears of being hounded by upper caste political parties as he was a person from a poor and low-caste group. 

Mr Shabbir said that Mr Amit Shah labeling the Opposition parties as snakes, mongooses, cats, dogs as a slander aimed to belittle the Opposition parties. “BJP is scared and shaken off the Opposition parties including the NDA partners who were joining the Opposition ranks after the realisation of the deceit and hollowness of BJP’s promises as in the case of AP,” he said.
 
He said that it was utterly shameful that BJP president was using abusive language against the Opposition parties to hide their failures in  many promises unfulfilled by the BJP government.

Mr Shabbir said that while the BJP and NDA were hushing up the corruption in their ranks and particularly the criminal acts of the Mr Amit Shah and his son.
