No change till Uttam is at helm: Jagga Reddy

Hyderabad: Congress MLA Jagga Reddy on Tuesday said that there would be no change in the TPCC until it was headed by Mr N. Uttam Kumar Reddy.

Speaking to media persons on Tuesday, the Congress MLA said the TPCC chief did not collect money from anyone and in fact he is indebted now.

He said that there is no connection for the election results and a change in the TPCC.

If Mr Uttam Kumar Reddy quits to his post, Mr Jagga Reddy said there are stronger leaders like Revanth Reddy, Sridhar Babu, Komatireddy brothers, Ponnam Prabhakar and others for the post.

He said that he is very loyal to Mr Uttam Kumar Reddy and said that the party has given a tough fight in the local body elections. “In the old Medak district, the Congress will win at least 20 to 25 ZPTC seats. In the 1st phase elections, the Congress will win 60 to 70 ZPTC seats.”

The Congress leader said generally the ruling party in the state gets favourable results in the local body elections but this time Congress may get majority seats.
