YSRC to prepare plan for 2019 polls
Plenary would discuss the promises to be made for next elections; pass 18 resolutions.
Guntur: The YSRC will announce its action plan about intensifying fight against anti-public policies of the TD government at its plenary.
YSRC senior leader Botsa Satyanarayana and other leaders visited Bible Mission grounds in front of Acharya Nagarjuna University and reviewed the arrangements.
Mr Satyanarayana refuted allegations of the TD about the YSRC losing public support and conducting plenary for identity purpose.
Instead, he said the recent TD Mahanadu was a big failure and claimed that the YSRC plenary would be a big hit. He said the TD totally failed to fulfil its promises given during the 2014 elections.
He claimed that the people of AP state were up in arms against the TD government for the rise in corruption, illegalities, land grabs, attacks on government employees, failure to develop basic amenities and involvement of TD ministers and legislators in various scams.
He said women were angry against the liquor policy of the state government, which is aimed at turning the public into drunkards, and the youth were against TD for not fulfilling job promises.
YSRC MP (Rajya Sabha) V. Vijaya Sai Reddy stated that the plenary would discuss agitations and protests carried out by the YSRC in the past three years and its benefits to the party.
He said the plenary would draw an action plan to take the party into the public in the next two years to win the next elections. He said the plenary would discuss the promises which would be given to the public in the next elections and 18 resolutions would be passed on the second day. Guntur West MLA Md. Mustafa and other leaders spoke on the occasion.
