Visakhapatnam: Jana Sena leaders were stopped from entering the Lord Venkateswara temple in Vizag on Monday morning.

The leaders had gone to the temple to pray for the success of their leader Pawan Kalyan's Varahi yatra, which is scheduled to be held from August 10 to 19.

Police stopped the Jana Sena leaders at the temple gate, saying that the area is sensitive. The leaders protested the decision and demanded to be allowed to enter the temple. They also accused the government of trying to prevent them from praying for the success of Pawan Kalyan's yatra.

Jana Sena leader Sandeep said that the government was trying to suppress their voice by stopping them from entering the temple. He also alleged that the government was occupying government lands in Vizag.

The police eventually allowed some Jana Sena leaders enter the temple, but they stopped most of them from doing so. The leaders continued to protest outside the temple, raising anti-government slogans.
