In view of dissolution of Assembly, a regular government cease to exist and the present government is only a caretaker.
Hyderabad: The Congress on Friday demands removal of TS government advisers. TPCC treasurer Gudur Narayan Reddy said after the dissolution of the Assembly and with a caretaker government in place, there is no need for such advisers, who were given cabinet rank, huge salaries, perks and other facilities by the TRS government, which was a waste of public money.
“In view of dissolution of Assembly, a regular government cease to exist and the present government is only a caretaker. Therefore, there is no need for any Advisors, at least for now. Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan should either direct all the Advisors to resign from their positions or issue orders to scrap the post," Mr Reddy said.
He said their continuance in office will not only be a burden on State's Exchequer, but some of them might also influence the next elections by taking advantage of their posts. Therefore, all of them must resign immediately, he demanded.
Mr Reddy said the Congress party was all set to win the next elections under the leadership of TPCC chief N. Uttam Kumar Reddy.
