RC Khuntia lashes out at Suresh Reddy for defection

Hyderabad: TS Congress affairs incharge R.C. Khuntia said on Friday that former Speaker K.R. Suresh Reddy had joined the TRS for selfish reasons but added that the party would face no problems if one or two leaders left it.

Speaking to mediapersons on Friday at Gandhi Bhavan, Mr Khuntia asked why Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao had dissolved the Assembly while his party enjoyed majority. He said that Mr Rao had remained the Chief Minister only for four years.

He said Mr Rao was a “big buffoon” who did not step into the Secretariat. He said Mr Rao was the only Chief Minister who was obsessed by astrology. Mr Rao was scared on seeing Congress president Rahul Gandhi, Mr Khuntia said.
