Mohammed Ali Shabbir wants case booked on K Chandrasekhar Rao, officials
He said a case of cheating must be booked against Mr Rao and officials who lied on the RTC issue.
Hyderabad: Former minister Mohammed Ali Shabbir on Thurs-day claimed the Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao’s “lies” on the RTC issue had been ‘self-exposed’ — a play on the government’s claim that the striking workers had self-dismissed’ themselves — when senior IAS officials apologised before the High Court for furnishing wrong data.
He said a case of cheating must be booked against Mr Rao and officials who lied on the RTC issue.
In a statement, Mr Shabbir Ali alleged that Mr Rao had forced senior bureaucrats to furnish wrong information before the High Court. He said, “KCR is a habitual liar. It is common for him to speak lies in public meetings, Assembly, Council and press conferences. He also turned senior bureaucrats into liars by making them furnish false information on regular basis. Those lies were caught when they tried to mislead the High Court. They had to apologise to the High Court for submitting false information.” He said it was for the first time that a group of senior IAS officers was rebuked by the High Court.
