Only Jagan Has Steps For Uplift Of Marginalized: YSRC Leaders
Vijayawada: Samajika Sadhikara Bus Yatra being taken out by leaders of YSR Congress entered the 10th day on Tuesday. It received a tremendous response from the public when it reached Vinukonda of Palnadu district on Tuesday.
Thousands of people thronged the streets in response to the bus yatra, making it a resounding success. The public meeting at Vinukonda too received an overwhelming response.
AP Electronic Media adviser Mohammad Ali turned out to be the star attraction at the meeting. He commended Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy for keeping individuals from BC, SC, ST, and minorities on an equal footing as prominent leaders of the party. He appreciated that Jagan made members of these communities as deputy chief ministers of Andhra Pradesh.
Addressing the gathering, social welfare minister Merugu Nagarjuna emphasised that though many leaders of the country have expressed concern about poor, only Jagan Mohan Reddy had taken substantial steps for their uplift. He said Jagan being a strong advocate of Dalit rights has been proved with the CM erecting a 125-foot Dr. B.R. Ambedkar statue in Vijayawada.
Praising the Chief Minister as one of India's notable leaders who honour their commitments, MP Krishna Devarayulu said Jagan pledged to swiftly complete the Varikipudishala project to ensure water for Palnadu. The MP affirmed that household tap connections will be completed soon.
Health minister Vidadala Rajini said investing in human capital is the principle of YSRCP government. She said this is why many positions are now being allocated to individuals from BC, SC, ST, and minority communities. These would all unite in 2024 and give a befitting lesson to Chandrababu Naidu by ending his political career.
Elaborating further on the role played by Jagan government in empowering poor, Vinukonda MLA Bolla Brahmanaidu said CM Jagan, inspired by his father YSR’s legacy, had introduced his own set of schemes known as Navaratnalu, which have helped the poor.
YSRC regional coordinator V. Vijayasai Reddy, minister Adimulapu Suresh and MLCs Pothula Sunitha, Kumba Ravi Babu and Yesu Ratnam were among those who addressed the gatherings at various places that the Samajika Sadhikara Bus Yatra passed through.
