AAP is contesting the assembly polls in UP but will still campaign against the BJP. AAP spokesman Vaibhav Maheshwari said that all AAP leaders and workers will launch an aggressive campaign against the BJP in UP.
“We will inform the people of the misdeeds of the Modi government and expose the BJP but we will not ask for votes for other parties,” he said.
“This campaign can also be termed as a new kind of politics in which a party will be putting its energy and money into an election in which it stands to gain nothing in terms of seats,” he said.
