BIHAR: Pushpam Priya Choudhary, the daughter of former Janata Dal United MLC Vinod Chaudhary had on sunday declared herself as the "Chief Ministerial candidate" for the upcoming Assembly elections in Bihar.

Priya, who belongs to Darbhanga but lives in London, announced her candidacy in a full page advertisements that appeared in several Hindi and English newspapers in Bihar on Sunday.

Ms Choudhary mentioned herself as the President of Plurals (her party)and the CM candidate in the 2020 Bihar assembly elections

Currently, the Bihar state is being ruled by the BJP-JDU-LJP coalition  headed by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
