BJP, TMC in talks to forge alliance

Chennai: State BJP president Tamilisai Soundararajan on Friday said her party is holding talks with second rung leaders of Tamil Maanila Congress to form an alliance for the May 16 Assembly elections.

She told reporters here the BJP had already invited TMC, led by former Union minister G.K. Vasan, to join hands with BJP. She also hoped that an amicable settlement would be reached with TMC.
