KCR has shown his true colours by skipping PM's event meant for TS development: BJP
Hyderabad: BJP state vice-president N.V.S.S. Prahakar alleged that the “true face” of Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao stood exposed when he skipped Saturday’s function of Prime Minister Narendra Modi that pertained to development works benefiting the state.
“For one who always talks of development of the state, it was ironic that Rao did not attend programmes of Modi, who laid the foundation stone and inaugurated various development works worth over Rs 11,000 crore,” Prabhakar said on Sunday.
Speaking to reporters, the former legislator said that the people have understood who is the real supporter and who was creating obstacles for the state’s development, he said.
Prabhakar pointed out that despite differences with Modi on issues, non-BJP Chief Ministers of Tamil Nadu, Bengal, Delhi and Andhra Pradesh had followed protocol and shared the dais with the Prime Minister in their respective states.
Referring to allegations by some BRS ministers, he wondered why Rao, K.T. Rama Rao, T. Harish Rao and K. Kavitha had not reacted while some ministers who are unable to even organise their ministry’s review meetings indulged in mudslinging.
The senior BJP leader said that Left parties are fighting for their existence after the Munugode by-election where they supported the BRS candidate. The countdown for the exit of the BRS government has begun and people are waiting to teach a lesson to the KCR family rule and corrupt government, Prabhakar said.
