TRS man ousts ZP chief from WhatsApp group
Shyam Naik is one of the admins of the group that is named ‘Khanapur Social Media’
ADILABAD: Khanapur Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) MLA Rekha Naik’s husband Shyam Naik, a government employee, on Sunday removed Adilabad zilla parishad chairman Rathod Janardhan, who also belongs to the ruling party, from a Whatsapp group.
Shyam Naik is one of the admins of the group that is named ‘Khanapur Social Media’. The removal highlights the differences among TRS leaders.
The ostensible reason for the action was that Janardhan posted some photographs of a house-warming ceremony that he had attended in Ethmasurngaar in Utnoor town.
Relations between the two groups soured when Janardhan began lobbying for an MLA ticket and started campaigning in the villages in Khanapur Assembly constituency.
Reacting to his removal, Janardhan quickly created a new group with a similar name.
