TD has started new drama to collect funds, says Perni Nani
Vijayawada: Former minister and YSR Congress MLA Perni Venkataramaiah alias Nani has accused Telugu Desam chief N. Chandrababu Naidu of starting Amaravati Maha Padayatra 2.0 from Venkatayapalem to Arasuvilli only to fool people and collect funds from them.
“TD leaders resort to padayatra in the name of collecting funds only to convert their black money acquired through real estate business into white,” the ruling party leader alleged speaking to media on Thursday.
He welcomed the decision of AP Cabinet led by Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy on Wednesday to give lands to poor in Amaravati under various government schemes.
In this context, he recalled that the erstwhile Chandrababu Naidu government had allotted lands to outsiders in Amaravati when in power. But it is now opposing sanctioning of lands to poor in the city citing demographic imbalance, which is severely objectionable, the former minister maintained.
He declared that Jagan Mohan Reddy government will adhered to its Three Capitals decision and implement the same.
