Kannur: On the second day of the attack on RSS office in Koothuparamba on Wednesday, police search had unearthed two crude bombs. Cops found two explosives on its terrace in the morning. They said the powerful steel bombs were not those hurled by the assailants on Tuesday evening.
At the same time, three CPM workers are said to be taken into custody over the incident of throwing bombs at the RSS office and the following vandalism. The building and its premises are under heavy police security led by Koothuparamba inspector Pradeepan Kannipoyil and sub-inspector K.V. Nishith.
The CPM local committee had alleged that the bombs that were kept at the office were exploded on Tuesday after police found out two country-made bombs. However, police sources denied it saying that the exploded were steel bombs.
