KCR set right dissidence' in Kamareddy BRS
Kamareddy: BRS president and Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao on Thursday resolved several issues that had crept up at Kamareddy, his constituency, After filing his nomination papers, he spent time at out Kamareddy MLA Gampa Govardhan’s residence and interacted with the party leaders.
He defused the growing issue between Machareddy ZPTC member Minukuri Ram Reddy and Machareddy MPP president L. Narsing Rao, which had grown into a Reddy vs Velama issue. Ram Reddy explained the background to his being assaulted. The CM assured that he would do justice to the victims.
BRS former Kamareddy town president Gaddam Chandrashekar Reddy was suspended from the party for his attack on BRS senior leader Tirumal Reddy.
Youths and women waved when Rao passed through the main roads of Kamareddy before filing his papers.
It was one of the biggest meetings in recent times. In view of the Chief Minister’s visit, additional police forces were deployed from surrounding districts.
Speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy, minister V. Prashanth Reddy, Zaheerabad MP B.B. Patil, Gampa Govardhan, MLAs J. Surender, Hanumanth Shinde and others were present.
