Hyderabad: The BRS will soon start training classes on unity for its leaders and cadres and the party’s senior leaders will be available every day at Telangana Bhavan, the party headquarters, it was announced on Wednesday.

The party had been holding daily meetings with its leaders from different Lok Sabha constituencies for the past week and one of the issues that has been cropping up every day since January 3, was the absence of a sense of togetherness among party leaders, and their followers, at the ground level. After identifying this as a major factor that led to disgruntlement which in turn led to people turning away from it causing BRS to lose the recent Assembly elections, party working president K.T. Rama Rao on Wednesday announced the plans to hold the training classes.

He was addressing a meeting of Warangal Lok Sabha constituency leaders at Telangana Bhavan. The party has already acknowledged that candidate selection was one-sided with views of those on the ground not taken into consideration as much as they should have been and has been promising that henceforth, constituency and lower level leaders will have a say in candidate choices.

Meanwhile, BRS MLA Kadiam Srihari found fault with the Congress government for cancelling the Formula E race in Hyderabad saying that any wrongdoings can be investigated but cancelling the race should not have been the option.
