Sharad Yadav extends support to YSRC MPs
Former president of Janata Dal United Sharad Yadav extended his support to the indefinite hunger strike being staged by the YSRC MPs.
Mr Yadav met YSRC MPs Mithun Reddy and Avinash Reddy, who have been on an indefinite hunger strike for four days, at the AP Bhav-an. He extended his support to YSRC and told that YSRC has been genuinely fighting for the SCS to Andhra Pradesh.
“Prime Minister didn’t fulfil the promises he made for Andhra Pradesh, after bifurcation. The fight by YSRC for SCS to Andhra Pradesh is genuine and they have been doing a great work. The then Prime Minister Manmohan Singh gave an assurance in Parliament that every problem would be addressed after division, with the help of the Central government. But PM Narendra Modi has ignored it,” he said.
