Warangal: TRS claims of more chances for win
He said both TRS candidates were in a comfortable position and would be looking to win with five lakh votes majority.
Warangal: As the campaign for the Parliament elections came to a finish on Tuesday, all the parties are satisfied that they have done their best in reaching out to the people appealing to them for votes. However, the ruling TRS claims they have a clear edge over the opposition in Warangal. Several leaders from the Congress and BJP have shifted loyalty to the TRS. The lack of strong candidates as opponents too is in favour of the TRS. However, the opposition parties are relying on their vote banks to secure a win. In addition, the result of the recent MLC polls turning against the TRS raises the hopes for them.
Senior Congress leader V. Hanumantha Rao who was in Warangal on Tuesday in support of party candidate D. Sambaiah has said the Constitution is the same for both the ruling party and the Opposition party but the TRS government which has an unquenchable thirst for power is murdering democracy in the state.
Minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao who is entrusted with the responsibility of ensuring victory for the TRS in both the constituencies has toured extensively during the past two weeks. He said both TRS candidates were in a comfortable position and would be looking to win with five lakh votes majority.
