Jagan Mohan Reddy calls AP CM liar, asks people to dethrone him
Claiming to be a truth teller, the YSRC president said he would fulfil his promises if he were to become the chief minister.
Kurnool: In a scathing attack, YSRC president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy on Wednesday called Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu a “liar” and asked the people to dethrone him.
“Let Nandyal play the trigger shot to dethrone Naidu”, he roared at a road show held at Rythunagar and Kanala, ahead of the byelection to the Nandyal Assembly constituency.
Holding the party symbol, a fan, Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy appealed to people to trust the efficacy of fan to “breeze through problems” and be “the agents of change”.
Claiming to be a truth teller, the YSRC president said he would fulfil his promises if he were to become the chief minister. His ‘Navaratnalu’ scheme was designed to bring happiness to every household irrespective of caste, creed and community.
He said that he had no money, no media power and nothing whatsoever except the love and support of the people who had benefited from the policies of his late father, Dr Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy.
He said that the Chief Minister was “cursed by a muni” that if he were to utter a truth, his head would be broken into a thousand pieces. Therefore, he said, Mr Naidu was overseeing “the rule of falsehood steeped in unfulfilled promises”.
